Thank you for wanting to participate in our study!

Introduction

This study is part of our Software Engineering research project "VIBE: VitaBeat as an Interactive Biofeedback Experience" at the Institute of Parallel and Distributed Systems (IPVS) at the University of Stuttgart, in cooperation with the Visualization Research Center (VISUS) and the Institute for Visualization and Interactive Systems (VIS).

Background

"VitaBeat" is a prototype Android app developed as part of a previous Software Engineering research project and three theses. Its core functionality is to provide an overview of the user's current heart rate and the Spotify song they are listening to (including their listening history). The functionalities are facilitated by linking VitaBeat with both the Spotify app and the smartwatch's sensor data. The outcomes help researchers conduct larger studies in the field of music and vital parameters.

Objective

The aim of this study is to gather feedback for further developing the app, making it more attractive and useful for potential users. Your responses will help tailor the app to better meet the needs and desires of its users.
