BIDS Extensions Researcher Survey

Thank you for joining this collaborative effort to enhance data reproducibility, sharing, and collaboration in neuroscience. This survey focuses on exploring potential extensions to the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) framework, specifically tailored to the needs of music, audio and sleep research.

The project involves two researchers:

  • Pawan Waldia, a Master's student, focusing on the inclusion of musical/auditory data within BIDS as part of his thesis.

  • Pouya Taghipour, a Bachelor's student, focusing on developing solutions for integrating sleep-related data into BIDS.

The project is supervised by:

  • Samuel Morgan, Doctoral Candidate, Institute for Parallel and Distributed Systems (University of Stuttgart).

  • Ali Saberi, Doctoral Candidate, Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour (Radboud University Medical Center).

This survey is specifically intended for researchers in fields related to neuroscience, who have experience in conducting studies related to music, audio and/or sleep. Your responses will directly contribute to the development of standardized tools and formats that enhance reproducibility, collaboration, and data sharing in these fields.

Key Information:

  • The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

  • Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you can withdraw at any time by simply closing the browser.

  • All responses will be stored securely and used solely for research purposes.
